I’m Miss Lara, and I’ve been part of TDH Academy since I was just 7 years old! I started my journey at the academy as a student, and over the years, my passion for dance developed into a passion for teaching.

During my time at TDH, I have taken all of my BTDA examinations from Prep through to Grade 5, and I’m now continuing my training to further develop my skills and teaching practice. I also trained at Colchester Institute for two years, gaining a Distinction in Performing Arts and Dance, before moving to London for a further year to develop my skills and experience even further.

I have trained in a wide range of dance styles and absolutely love teaching them too, so choosing a favourite is almost impossible! What I enjoy most is working with all of the wonderful students at TDH and being able to support, encourage and watch them grow throughout their own journeys. I feel incredibly lucky and blessed to be part of so many students' lives.

I’m so excited to continue my teaching journey at TDH and look forward to another amazing (and slightly crazy!) year ahead!
